We met in the elevator at work, always making small talk but felt so instantly comfortable with each other. During one of our elevator conversations I asked if he could pick up a Houston Aeros Jersey for me and he gladly accepted. That is how we exchanged numbers and became really good friends ever since. We quickly discovered we were both very social people and shared the same passion for outdoors and travel. Our relationship slowly went from a great friendship to an amazing relationship that has lasted for over 4 years. We truly feel we are meant for each other and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together!

While vacationing in Aruba with fiends, we planned a beach side dinner at The Flying Fishbone. Right before dinner and as the sun started to set, the waitress came and ask for us to take the traditional sunset picture. Little did I know It was all a set up. As we were getting ready to take the picture Chris pulled the ring out of his pocket, got down on one knee and said “Alejandra Cordova, tu eres mi corazón!!! Will you marry me?” I was in shock and couldn’t believe he was asking the question. I asked if he was serious a couple of times before coming back to my senses and finally said, "YES," and we were engaged. It was truly perfect, with the most beautiful sunset as a background, surrounded by friends and family and a restaurant full of people cheering for us.
