Though we met in Ann Arbor, Detroit is where our love grew. We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!

Downtown Detroit is one of the most up and coming and exciting places to explore. Make sure to stop at Campus Martius, The Guardian Building, The Belt, and enjoy all the great shops in between.

Explore Downtown Detroit

One of Danielle's favorite places to go, the 3 mile long Detroit Riverwalk is a great place to take in the views of both Detroit and Canada. There are also several fountains and splash parks for the kids.

Detroit Riverwalk

If you're looking for something to do Saturday morning, stop at Eastern Market, Detroit's best farmers market. There you will find a huge selection of fresh produce, plants, flowers and other goodies. It is open from 6 am to 4 pm.

Eastern Market

The DIA has one of the largest and most significant art collections in the US. Come explore the 100 galleries of art from around the world.

Detroit Institute of Arts

This is where Matt and Danielle would most frequently go for date night. They have a delicious in-house bakery, dairy, and microbrewery.

Traffic Jam & Snug

This is one of Matt's favorite places to have some delicious brick-oven pizza and to grab a beer.

Motor City Brewing Works

This is Matt and Danielle's favorite place to get the best chicken shawarma you'll ever have. Don't forget to get a side of curly fries or grapeleaves!
