Flight
To get to Oʻahu, be sure to book your flight into Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu.
Rental Car
While Oʻahu has ride-share services and public transportation, the easiest way to explore the island at your own pace is by renting a car. There are several car-share platforms or rental car companies available to make getting around easy. Please be sure to celebrate responsibly.
House Or Rental
In order to help preserve housing for local residents, short-term rentals on Oʻahu are only permitted in designated areas. While some listings on Airbnb, Vrbo, and other platforms may show longer minimum stays, sometimes local hosts are open to adjusting if you reach out directly. To help with planning, here are approximate drive times to Waimānalo (our wedding location): From the North Shore: about 1–1.5 hours From the East Side: about 10 - 30 minutes From the South Side, Town: 30 - 45 minutes From the West Side: about 45 min - 1.5 hours
Hotel
There are many hotels to stay at in Waikīkī, which is about a 40 minute drive to our celebration. Want the scenic route? Go through Maunalua, via HI-72, it will take a few extra minutes, but we usually take it too!
