Forever, summer love

Mark & Seaenna had many mutual friends, Seaenna’s friends from elementary school and Mark’s besties from high school. Because of this, they were already Instagram friends, which eventually led to meeting in Seaside, California, while Mark was attending Hartnell College and Seaenna was at California State University, Monterey Bay. Mark shot his shot in the DMs, so simple that their first conversation contained no more than ten words. This was in January 2019. For their first date, Mark asked Seaenna out to watch a movie, The Upside, where she arrived 30 minutes late. Although not officially dating yet, they hung out often and even went snowboarding together that semester. On that trip, Mark broke the news that he’d be moving back home that summer, and for a moment, it seemed their story might end, but it was only the beginning of their adventures for a lifetime. Every time Seaenna came home for breaks, they would hang out. Then COVID hit, a blessing in disguise, because Seaenna moved back home, giving them even more time together despite the restrictions. Even with the obvious connection, it wasn’t until the end of summer, Saturday, July 26th, 2020, that Mark’s big braddah had to nudge him to grow some kahunas and finally ask her out. This wasn’t just a summer love, it was the summer they fell in love. This was the beginning of our forever, after all. Our forever, summer love. We can’t wait to share our special day with you all, surrounded by the warmth of summer.
