San Diego has it all - the beach, mountains, city, and nature. Here are some ideas to get you started.
Old Town San Diego
San Diego, CA 92110
Shop, walk around, and have a few margaritas. Don't miss the Whaley House (one of only two officially designated haunted houses in California... !)
Balboa Park
San Diego, CA, (619) 239-0512
This 1200 acre park is just up the street from the Britt Scripps Manor. There's a botanical garden, or it's a great place to take a stroll, bike ride or picnic. We recommend grabbing electric uber bikes to help you up all the hills...
Hike at Torrey Pines State Reserve
12600 North Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, CA 92037
We love to hike and recommend checking out the Torrey Pines State Reserve. The reserve borders the Pacific Ocean just north of La Jolla, and is situated about 18 miles north of downtown San Diego. It opens daily at 7:15 a.m. and closes at sunset.
Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton
1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118, (619) 435-6611
Have a drink at one of the sunset beach bars.

Trust is a great farm to table restaurant in North Park with lots of share options.
Ironside Fish & Oyster
1654 India Street, San Diego, CA 92101, (619) 269-3033
Oysters, raw bar, bakery on site, and delicious fresh seafood with a menu that changes daily. We love this place!
False Idol
675 West Beech Street, San Diego, CA 92101
False Idol is tons of fun - it's actually tucked inside a restaurant in Gaslamp. Make reservations or be prepared to wait!
Craft & Commerce
675 West Beech Street, San Diego, CA 92101, (619) 269-2202
Lively gastropub in Gaslamp - try and snag one of the tables with a fire pit in the middle.

San Diego is FULL of breweries. Johnny's favorites are Half Door, Modern Times, Melvin, Thorn, Stone, and Ballast Point.
