Balboa Park
This 1200 acre park is just up the street from the Britt Scripps Manor. There's a botanical garden, or it's a great place to take a stroll, bike ride or picnic. We recommend grabbing electric uber bikes to help you up all the hills...
Hike at Torrey Pines State Reserve
We love to hike and recommend checking out the Torrey Pines State Reserve. The reserve borders the Pacific Ocean just north of La Jolla, and is situated about 18 miles north of downtown San Diego. It opens daily at 7:15 a.m. and closes at sunset.

Have a drink at one of the sunset beach bars.
