What Does Hobbit-y, Lord of the Rings Theme mean for Attire

Answer

Head over to Gallery for ideas! We want people to wear clothes that are comfortable and allow you to move. If you would like to dress as a dwarf, elf, orc, or human kind it is also welcome but not mandatory. Generally think of earth tones, or more natural colors that suit your complexion, ideas of materials include corduroy, cotton, and linen. Vests, Belts, suspenders and sweaters can add a nice touch as well.

What is the Venue?

Answer

Venue is on a private road just 10 minutes from town, the only traffic should be wedding guests. It is a raised barn within orchards with a small fenced in lawn below where the ceremony will be held.

How Fantasy can I get?

Answer

Shouldpads, shields, helmets or armor of the sort are allowed, though no real blades not secured with zip ties. Guests are welcome to be Princes, Princesses, Dragons, Fairies and Royalty of whatever realm if they would like. We encourage borrowing, finding second hand or re-wearing something.

Parking?

Answer

Venue will be up a canyon on a private road, the only traffic will be the wedding guests. Parking will be just across the street, in a fenced in meadow.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Historically it will be 70's and cool off in the evening, so ensure you have sunscreen (though we will have some if forgotten) and then maybe a light jacket.
