FAQs

If you have any questions other than those listed here, please reach out to the Father of the Bride, Fr. John, at (312)-241-3301.
Question

Is there parking at the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, our church does not have a parking lot but there is street parking available on the side streets. To minimize the stress of trying to find parking last minute, we recommend taking public transit, a rideshare or taxi service, or walking if your hotel is close enough!

Question

Will there be parking at the reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a 30 car lot to the east of the building as well as street parking.

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

A wide array of desserts and drinks will be served during the reception! We hope you will take this opportunity to dine at one of Chicago’s many amazing restaurants before the ceremony. A list of our favorites has been compiled for your enjoyment and can be found on the “Things to Do” tab of this website.

Question

How do we get to the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be offering transportation to the reception from the ceremony. We recommend grabbing an Uber or Lyft in front of the church! There are 30 parking spaces available at the reception if you chose to drive.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your children so we hope you will bring them to the ceremony! However, unless you are coming in from out of town, we ask that you make the reception an adults-only night. If you are coming in from out of town and would also like to take the night off, please contact the bride as she has a list of capable babysitters ready to go.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

We have a registry page set up here on Zola as well as a few items on Amazon.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive no later than 10 minutes before the ceremony (which begins at 6:30 pm). You may come as early as 30 minutes before, if you’d like.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We would prefer that you RSVP on this website in order to limit the chance of lost RSVPs or miscommunication. However, you may call the Mother of the Bride at 312-810-5368 if you have trouble navigating the site and she will manually enter your RSVP.

Question

Where will you live?

Answer

Scout will be moving to Utah this January where Josh will finish his Bachelor's degree this May at the University of Utah. Scout is in the process of applying to several nursing schools, both in Utah and in Chicago, with plans to begin classes August 2020.
