We first met at a wedding and it only took six months of phone calls after that to make it official! Since then we've spent all our money on plane tickets, all our spare time on FaceTime, and all our love on each other.

After begging her father, months of planning, and some light misdirection, I flew to Chicago to surprise her. Her best friend took her to the pier where we had first gone on my first trip to Chicago. While she was posing in front of a small lighthouse, I surprised her and got down on one knee. As she was both laughing and crying, she said yes! We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you! See you in Chicago!
