Wedding Party

Meet some of the special people that have supported Nicole and Scott over the years! Their wedding party is a mix of life long friends and close family members that have all made an impact on the Bride and Groom during their lives.

Brianne Oliver

Matron of Honor

Brianne (LeBlanc) Oliver met the Bride when Nicole was just a day old. One time when Nicole was about 3, Brianne became jealous of her long eyelashes and cut them off, much to the dismay of their mother. For years they rivaled as siblings but eventually, they grew to tolerate one another. In college, they became real sisters after Nicole joined the same cult (sorority) as Brianne. A few years later, Nicole was able to stand in Brianne's wedding as her Maid of Honor. Brianne is now married with a rambunctious 5-year-old and a newborn! Nicole is the proud "Aunt Nic" to her kids whom she has nicknamed "lil man" and "lil nug" and spoils them too much! Although they live almost 5 hours from one another, these sisters still manage to talk every week and visit as often as they can.

Christopher Stansbury

Best Man

Chris and Scott met in their high school marching band. During college, Scott and Chris lived together for 3 years and to this day, Scott claims Chris was a much better roommate than Nicole. From music festivals, Mardi Gras, and even Las Vegas, Chris and Scott have made lots of memories together over the years. Every year Chris and Scott manage to attend the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival together in their hometown and hope to continue the tradition. When it came time for Scott to pick a Best Man, it was an easy choice to pick one of his oldest friends.

Reagan Arnett

Bridesmaid

Reagan and Nicole met their first week of college during their sorority's bid day. Realizing they lived in dorms near one another, they became fast friends. Nicole attributes her acclimation to Louisiana to Reagan because she brought Nicole to her first Mardi Gras and taught her all about Louisiana culture. Reagan and Nicole lived together for one year in the sorority house before Reagan transferred schools. They have remained best friends over the years due to their strong bond and continue to see each other as often as they can.

Zackery Cusimano

Groomsman

Zack and Scott met in high school marching band and continued to become close during their years together in LSU Tiger Band. They lived together for 2 years in college, and Zack has been dubbed "chicken nugget" by Scott and Nicole's dogs for sharing food with them over the years. Zack and Scott have travelled all over the country together from their years in Drum Corps, Tiger Band, and their 2019 cross country road trip.

Aubrey Holt

Bridesmaid

Aubrey and Nicole met their freshman year of college but did not become close until their Sophomore year during their sorority's rush that fall. Aubrey and Nicole bonded over their love of sneaking in Jello Shots to bars and being out of state students. They have been on many trips together (more than Nicole and Scott have!) and have since forced their parents to become friends as well. Aubrey was the only other person present the day of Scott's proposal, and was instrumental in making sure the surprise went off without a hitch! As she told Nicole before Scott even began planning the proposal, "If I'm not there, I will kill him." Nicole can always count on Aubrey for a laugh or cry and you can guarantee that it will most likely involve a bottle of wine and a snack.

Stephen St. Pierre

Groomsman

Stephen and Scott became friends during their years together in LSU Tiger Band. During the 2018 season, Stephen and Scott were co-Section Leaders for the Baritones and have been close ever since. Although Stephen was the first of Scott's friends to move out of state, they manage to stay in touch, even if it's just to trash talk during the fantasy football season!

Hayley Hall

Bridesmaid

Hayley and Nicole met during Nicole's sophomore year and Hayley's Freshman year at LSU when they became Big and Little in their sorority. Nicole saw Hayley sitting alone one day in the dining room at the sorority house and decided to spark a conversation with her and has not stopped talking Hayley's ear off since. After living in the sorority house together, Nicole would say Hayley was a wonderful roommate. Hayley might not say the same. Hayley's mom once called Nicole a "good influence" on Hayley, although Hayley might not call it "good". Through the years (and many nights out later), their support of one another has brought them through many things, including wedding planning.

Christopher Fowler

Groomsman

Chris and Scott met during their years together in the LSU Tiger Band Baritone section. Chris originally planned to only stay at LSU for his freshman year, but after becoming friends with Scott he decided to stick out the rest of his college career as a tiger! Scott and Chris lived together for 2 years in college and have traveled the country together, including their 2019 cross-country road trip to Chris' hometown in California.

Meg Hopkins

Bridesmaid

Nicole and Meg have known each other as long as they can remember due to their parents becoming friends through their church in Nicole's hometown of Matthews, North Carolina. Nicole and Meg have considered each other sisters for a long time, and many people who watched them grow up together would refer to Meg as Nicole's "Mini-Me". Many of their favorite childhood memories involve each other, and their group of friends from church, including trips to Myrtle Beach, the Appalachian Mountains, Sunday school parties at each other's houses, Friendsgivings, and all the milestones that come with growing up. Although they have lived hundreds of miles apart since Nicole left for college in 2016, their friendship never waivered and they continue to see each other when they can. Most recently, Meg visited New Orleans to celebrate her 21st birthday with Nicole and came down to Louisiana for Thanksgiving this year!

Brian Poulin

Groomsman

Brian is Scott's older brother. Growing up, Scott was dubbed the "annoying little brother", but over the years, they have grown close over their mutual love of all things football (Geaux Tigers & Who Dat!), video games, anime, and dogs. Most notably, you can find them arguing over who is better at board or card games, but Nicole is the one who typically beats both of them during family game nights. Brian's dog Elise has become BFFs with Scott and Nicole's dogs after many Sunday Family Lunches spent by their parent's pool.

Sophia Cutrera

Flower Girl

Sophia is the oldest daughter of Nicole's first cousin, Jeff and his wife, Diana. This sweet little girl loves all things pink and princessy, the only requirements for being a flower girl! Scott and Nicole are very excited to have her be a part of their special day.

Archer Oliver

Ring Bearer

Archer is an amazing little boy who has been nicknamed "Lil Man" by his Aunt Nic since before he was born. Nicole and Archer have been best buds since day one and love their talks on the phone while Aunt Nic drives home from work. Archer and Uncle Scott love to get into shenanigans together, much to the dismay of his parents! When Aunt Nic and Uncle Scott visit, you can typically find Scott and Archer in the middle of a pillow fight or running around together. Let's hope they don't cause too much trouble at the wedding!

Dr. Hampton Hopkins

Officiant

Hampton, a.k.a. Rev. Dr. President, has known Nicole since she was a little girl. Over the years, their two family's have created many memories together including family beach vacations, camping trips, friendsgivings, and a few trips to Bourbon Street! Hampton met Scott when him and Nicole traveled to Hampton's home in North Carolina in 2021 for a long weekend visit, where they quickly bonded over their (ridiculously) extensive knowledge of all things NFL. When Scott and Nicole began thinking about who they wanted to officiate, Hampton was the obvious choice!
