Nicole and Scott met during her Junior year and his Senior year at LSU. In December of 2018, Scott asked Nicole on their first date to Zippy's in Baton Rouge and the date lasted over 10 hours as they didn't want to say goodbye. They have not left each other's sides since!

On October 10th, 2019, Scott and Nicole went to Companion Animal Alliance during a special event, and adopted their sweet pup Thor for only $10! Most recently, Scott and Nicole adopted a second pup from someone on Facebook on April 25th, 2023 named Ziggy! At only 6 months old during the adoption, Ziggy has brought a lot of excitement to their lives! Scott has managed his family's furniture store in Hammond for 3 years and Nicole currently works at an Engineering firm in Covington doing HR. They reside in the home they bought in Ponchatoula during the fall of 2022 (more on that next).

In September of 2022, Nicole decided she no longer liked their little rental house and declared that after months of talking about buying a house, they were just going to go ahead and do it! On November 10th, 2022, Nicole and Scott closed on their first home in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Nicole thought the plan was for them to leave the closing table and go straight to their new house to pop a bottle of champagne, but Scott had other plans. After walking into the house, Scott had to convince Nicole to walk out into the back patio because she wanted to explore the rooms in their home! What she did not know was that Scott had employed her best friend (and bridesmaid), Aubrey, to set up rose pedals and a table with special champagne glasses on the back patio! When they walked outside, Scott popped the question and Nicole immediately said yes!
