Philip
In the Wedding Band
Philip is one of Lauren's oldest friends—they met in fourth grade and have been close ever since. Lauren and Philip share a love of music, nerdy history jokes, and making recipes from their favorite Bon Appetit chefs, Claire and Molly.
Christopher
In the Wedding Band
Christopher and Scott met soon after Christopher’s birth and quickly moved in together as each other’s first roommate (their parents say this technically makes them brothers). Christopher adopted many of Scott’s hobbies and interests in video games and music but eventually found a career in programming all his own.
Elizabeth
In the Wedding Band
Elizabeth and Lauren met their freshman year of Wheaton College when they got into their a cappella group, Wheaton Whims, at the same time. Elizabeth is Lauren's Whims sister and like the sister she never had! Elizabeth is an amazing singer, and a lover of puppies, tie-dye, and ployes with maple syrup.
Dominic
In the Wedding Band
Dominic and Scott met when they became fellows at New World Symphony. Dominic and Scott share memes and pet photos (Scott of Zephyr, Dominic of Bentley the Boston Terrier) on the daily.
Katelyn
In the Wedding Band
Katelyn and Lauren first met as interns at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. They spent two summers as roommates, and evermore as friends. Lauren has loved getting to visit Katelyn as she's traveled around the world, to Quebec for grad school, then to South Africa for the Peace Corps.
Alec
In the Wedding Band
Alec and Scott met playing in the Houston Youth Symphony together every Sunday throughout high school…but didn’t really talk to each other until they started studying music at SMU. There, they became fast friends, living together throughout college and spending many sleepless nights watching entire seasons of TV, playing video games…and finishing papers due in the morning.
Bree
In the Wedding Band
Bree is Lauren's cousin. Only two months apart in age, they have grown up together and share a love of singing and cats. Though they live on opposite sides of the country, Lauren and Bree always pick up where they left off when they see each other every summer in Claryville.
Chris & Amber
Officiants
Amber is Scott's older sister. They've always shared a love of reading and animals. When Chris willingly attended Scott's middle school band concert when he and Amber were dating, Scott knew that Chris was in it for the long haul. Scott has looked up to Amber and Chris's marriage throughout his life, which is why it's so fitting that they will marry Scott and Lauren.
Andy
In the Wedding Band
Andy is Lauren's oldest younger brother and dad to the adorable Finley. Andy is known for goofy pranks like changing everyone's name on the family Netflix account to things like "The Man in the Yellow Hat" and "Dingus McStupidHead."
Lori
In the Wedding Band
Lori is Scott's sister. They are so close in age they used to trick people into thinking they were twins! Lori loves kids and works at a pre-school.
Ben
In the Wedding Band
Ben is 3 of 4 kids in Lauren's family. A lover of all animals (except Zephyr who is his archnemesis), Ben is a true Renaissance man with who enjoys the finer things in life, pottery, cooking, and pondering the world.
Sam
In the Wedding Band
Sam is the youngest in Lauren's family. The most-even keeled of all the kids, don't let Sam's calm demeanor fool you, he'll hit you with a witty one-liner that will leave you laughing. Sam's studying computer science at UConn.
Zephyr
Cat of Honor
Zephyr is Lauren and Scott's cat. She is our baby and the source of much joy in our lives. Zephyr can be found doing tricks, eating grass, snoozing on the couch, or resisting her dad's cuddles.
