While we love your little ones, our wedding reception is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
Head over to the "Travel" tab to see our hotel and rental recommendations! We recommend staying in Sea Pines area as that's where our immediate families (and us!) will be staying. You are more than welcome to stay on other parts of the island or off the island if that works better for you, just note that Sea Pines has a daily gate fee if you are not staying within the plantation and are just coming for an event. If you are staying elsewhere, please be sure to let us know where you are staying at gagne.kay@gmail.com.
Temperatures are warm but with less humidity than during the summer months. Early in the month the afternoon temperatures are mostly in the low 80s with early morning lows in the lower 60s.
The ceremony and reception are both taking place at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn Plantation.
Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, with the reception being held under an open sided, covered pavilion.
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the designated cocktail hour area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages!
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
