Flight
Reagan National (DCA) and Dulles (IAD) are the two closest airports that we recommend if you are flying to DC; both are a quick ~20-minute drive from the recommended hotels in Tysons Corner and the venue in Falls Church. Baltimore (BWI) is technically another option, but we wouldn't recommend it—it's a bit far from the festivities.
Train
Particularly for those on the East Coast, an alternative travel option is Amtrak. If you take a train, you'll come into Union Station in DC. From here, it's ~30 minutes by car to the hotels in Tysons Corner or the venue in Falls Church. You can also get to Tysons Corner by metro from Union Station (but it will take about an hour).
Train
The DC Metro system can get you to the hotels in Tysons Corner with relative ease if you're flying into to Dulles (IAD) or if you're coming from downtown DC. Tysons Corner is on the Silver line. If you're flying into IAD, you can catch a shuttle that will take you to the closest station (Wiehle-Reston East); from downtown DC, you can access the Silver line from multiple stations (including Metro Center). From DCA, the metro can easily get you to downtown DC (but not so easily to Tysons Corner). If you're going straight to a hotel in Tysons Corner, we recommend getting there by car (it's only about a 20-minute drive).
Rental Car
Driving (or using a rideshare) is a great way to get around DC and northern VA. If you're coming into town either via plane or Amtrak, you can book a rental car or catch a rideshare easily from the airport or train station. If you decide to drive to the event itself, there is free parking at the venue. Alternatively, you can catch a rideshare from wherever you are staying. It's about a 10-15–minute drive from Tysons Corner and about a 20-30–minute drive from most of DC.
Travel Note
Our venue, 2941, is is just outside of DC in Falls Church, VA. There are a few hotels in the immediate vicinity of the venue, but we'd recommend staying in Tysons Corner or DC. Tysons Corner is a quick 10-15–minute drive from the venue, provides easy access to DC by metro, and is a great location with numerous hotels, shops, and restaurants. If you want to stay in downtown DC, hotels as well as other rental options (e.g., Airbnb) are easy to find! We've secured a room block at the Hyatt in Tysons Corner; you can find details to the right. There are a lot of other hotels in the area too, though, as well as a myriad of options elsewhere in Virginia and DC!
Hotel
We've secured 15 rooms at the Hyatt Regency in Tysons Corner. It's just off DC Metro's Silver line and a quick drive to our venue.
