Things To Do

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory

800 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202

Even though Konnor Griffin uses a Marucci bat you can still check out this piece of baseball history in downtown Louisville. The guided tour shows the entire production process from timber to finished bat and you can even hold the bats that Babe Ruth and Derek Jeter held.

Old Forester Distilling Co.

119 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202

This is one of our favorite bourbon tours because Scott loves the bourbon, Jodie loves the candy and it's one of the only tours that shows you how the barrels are made and charred as well. If you don't like the bourbon Scott will finish it.

Rabbit Hole Distillery

711 East Jefferson Street, Louisville, KY 40202

This tour is one of our favorites because you start it with an in house cocktail and then taste through the entirety of the tour. It's one of the newest in Louisville and got its name when its owner went down the "rabbit hole" of loving bourbon.

Angel's Envy Distillery

500 East Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202

One of our favorite distilleries in downtown Louisville - this one offers great bourbon and an even bigger cocktail lounge.

Kentucky Bourbon Trail Visitor Center

829 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202

There are seven distilleries alone in downtown Louisville but dozens of others just a short drive from Louisville. Scott is happy to recommend all the ones with the best bourbon and Jodie can happily recommend all of the ones with the best snacks.

The Last Refuge

600 East Market Street, Louisville, KY 40202

Known as the "High Church of Bourbon" this former church is now owned by Bob Dylan and serves his Heaven Door spirits. They like to say the confessions are poured neat and the light hits just right.

Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery

801 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40202

Come for the tour of Michter's downtown distillery but stay for the bourbon cocktails at the Ft. Nelson bar upstairs.
