Any children that are being invited are noted on the invitation or a part of the wedding party. We genuinely love your kids but we also love their parents and they deserve a night to let loose.
Unfortunately we're up against capacity numbers at the Derby Museum so if you have a plus one that will also be noted on the invitation.
There is a mini-horse named Ari who lives in the stable behind the room where the ceremony will take place and he's accompanied by an in house retired thoroughbred. They would love if you'd swing by and say hello.
Due to the variety of hotels and Air B&B's being used by our guests we will not be providing transportation to the venue. Parking is readily available at the Derby Museum and Uber and Lyft are also available widely in the Louisville metro area. We will also have an Uber discount available the evening of the wedding to cover anyone's ride home.
The short answer is no. Jodie doesn't trust weather patterns so the entirety of the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
Wear whatever makes you feel pretty or handsome but if you do wear a Derby hat we'll have a hat rack available at the entrance for it to be placed on so no one's view gets blocked during the ceremony.
