How did we meet? Well, it started on Hinge. Honestly, we're not even sure who swiped first. All we know is from the moment we clicked, we connected. We spent over three weeks texting and chatting on the phone before finally meeting in person. Between our travels and some major events, it seemed like life was always throwing a curveball to delay our first date. However, we both felt like there was something special in our connection, so we kept the conversations going! When we finally had our first date, it was at The Stillery, and to say Scott almost had to cancel again would be an understatement! But he knew he couldn't let that happen...and we are so glad he didn't! We spent hours talking, laughing and making plans for date number two. For the second date, Scott thought he was being clever and considerate, and picked a spot near Cori's work. Little did he know, it was an absolute dive bar. Cori knew this but went along with it because she just wanted to see him again. Scott knew immediately this wasn't the kind of place he had in mind so he offered: "We could stay here if you want, or we can go somewhere else." Cori, being the easy-going soul she is, replied, "you decide." Scott jumped at the chance to change gears and suggested The Keg at Desert Ridge. And just like that, another incredible night of deep conversation and connection. As the night ended, Scott walked Cori to her car. After a sweet kiss goodnight, something shifted-they both deleted their Hinge apps. No more swiping. They both knew they found something real. Our love story hasn't been without bumps (or should we say falls and injuries?) But with each challenge, we've faced it together, always unconditionally. Now, we're beyond excited for our future together. As Scott says, our lives are divided into "30s," and we are ready to make our "BEST 30 YET!"
