Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge. The Cornell Botanic Gardens has 150 acres of specially conserved plants and arranged gardens. An additional 3400 acres of natural land area exists as well. The gorgeous space is not only open for viewing and appreciation but is also the sight of educational programs about the plans and the various systems they sustain and impact.
