Easily accessible and just a short walk from the main road, this is the waterfall that Ansel Adams made famous in his shot of Yosemite Valley from Inspiration Point. Bridalveil Fall is one of Yosemite’s most iconic waterfalls, probably second only to its big sister, Yosemite Falls, except that Bridalveil Fall flows year-round.

Tunnel View is a must-stop for any first-time visit to Yosemite Valley. Find it just outside the Wawona Tunnel on State Highway 41. No hiking is required, you simply park at one of the lots and make your way to the vista. This spot can be very popular so try to arrive early. From this vista you can see El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall.

On your way back out of the valley, the road passes right in front of the base of El Capitan at El Cap Straight, and there is a pull-out on the left side of the road so that you can stop and take a look from up close. This is also a great spot for stargazing! Bring your binoculars to spot the rock climbers on the granite wall.
