It's a modern love story. Two thirty somethings, set in their ways, open themselves up to love through the act of a swipe. In this case, Ali was at a ladies night at her friend Heidi's house, and of course they were all learning the dance to Justin Bieber's song “I’m Sorry”, when her friend Sophie took charge of Ali's phone and helped her find the man of her dreams. Chris, idly swiping, was at home watching a romantic and cynical psychological thriller, and thought, hey, let's get out there. Thank you Tinder. Chris and Ali started dating and found themselves drawn together by music, the outdoors, sarcasm, laughter, and friends. It was a bumpy start, off and on for a few months, then dating, but when you are both in your mid-thirties you cut to the chase. Within 6 months, they moved in together. Chris, as a Respiratory Therapist, and Ali, as an Immigration Lawyer, have both dedicated their lives to helping people. Both head strong and independent, had some work to do in integrating their separate lives. It was when they moved in together, sharing space, pets, meals, idiosyncrasies (annoyances?), and decisions that they began to truly fall in love. Cut to 5 years later: hours upon days of laughter, difficult discussions, losing a pup, then raising two new ones, backpacking trips, music shows, dance parties, cat snuggles, karaokeing, TV binging, dinner parties, memes, dad jokes, bad jokes, good jokes, hot tubs, and soooo many dog parks. That's when this duo decided it was time to bring all of our loved ones together and celebrate. *** We are so happy to bring everyone together for a weekend of fun! Love, Chris, Ali, Wyatt, and Chili (Sadly, Tenchu the cat will have to stay home though)
