For our guests staying at the Comfort Inn. There will be a shuttle available to and from our venue. Please be ready and waiting for the shuttle by 3:20pm outside of the hotel.

Norfolk International Airport

1.5 - 2 hours Drive This will be the closest airport to fly into from the Outerbanks. You will most likely need to rent a car if flying in.

Comfort Inn South Oceanfront

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Comfort Inn South Oceanfront Nags Head from Friday, May 20, 2022 through Sunday, May 22, 2022. Please reserve prior to April 1, 2022 and reserve under the block Thomsen- Schweitzer Wedding. *For those of you staying at the hotel, the shuttle will provide you transportation to and from the venue* Check-In: 4:00PM Check-Out: 11:00AM

House Or Rental

Airbnb or Vrbo

There are many beach house rental options on Airbnb or Vrbo. If you are looking to rent, we would recommend looking as soon as possible to make sure that you can secure one as they book quickly. There are homes in Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk which are a bit farther up as you can see on the map but still doable if you have someone to drive.

Pirate's Cove Marina

Pirate’s Cove Resort is a gated, family-friendly community on Roanoke Island about 5 minutes from our venue. They offer a mix of condos and vacation homes in a private neighborhood, where you can enjoy resort amenities like a pool, tennis courts, marina, and a restaurant and tiki bar.
