Let's Party!

Our mutual friend Jake Lisko (the best man) set us up on a blind date to his fraternity chartering. He initially texted me “hey whats up” before not hearing from him for a couple of days. He asked if I wanted to go to hair of the dog, and we got lunch and got to know each other. That weekend, we hit it off really well.

We planned a trip to go visit Bold Rock Cidery and a few others in Nellysford that weekend. Connor was being so weird and it was honestly hilarious. When we realized that the photos of bold rock he had seen were carter mountain and not nellysford, he insisted that we leave and go to devils backbone. At DB, we are faced with bad customer service and told that theyre booked out until monday. We start driving and looking around for things to do, and we end up at blue toad cidery where there are great drink deals and good live music. At one point, I checked his pockets for a ring box, and I didnt find one. I looked at him and said “i cant wait until you propose to me” and he started laughing maniacally. He couldn’t really catch his words and the subject shifted. We kept having ciders and listening to music. I had drunk a lot of ciders so my acid reflux was acting up and he suggested that we take a walk up this dirt road by the cidery. I was staring up at the mountain skyline and he asked me if I still had acid reflux and I told him yes, a little. Next thing I knew he was down on one knee, pulled out a bottle of Omeprazole (the stomach acid pills), and said "I can help you with your stomach problems but you gotta marry me first" and poured a bunch of omeprazole pills onto his hand, followed by the ring that he had been hiding in the bottle.
