Join us for a casual hike up Smuggler Mountain! It is only 2.7 miles roundtrip and is on a wide road. All are welcome!
Rehearsal Dinner at the Golf Course

Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, jeans or golf attire if fresh off the course! Please remember, this is the Rocky Mountains and it does get cool in the evening, so bring appropriate layers.
Whether you prefer to golf, hike or just enjoy the natural scenery in Aspen on Saturday, please plan to join us at our welcome dinner that evening. We will be serving Red Mountain Grill's famous fried chicken. For dessert, we will be honoring a Schwartz family tradition with a devil's food cake bake-off! See recipe below and let us know if you would like to participate. CAKE: 1c flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla 2 oz unsweetened choc 1c milk 1c sugar 3 egg yolks 3 tbs melted butter Cream together sugar, egg yolks + melted butter. Add flour + baking soda thats been dissolved in 1/4c warm water. Add vanilla + beat. Melt unsweetened choc + milk in saucepan. Cook until thick. Add to batter + mix. Pour into 2 greased 8 or 9" pan. Bake at 350 for 15min ICING: 3c brown sugar 1c cream/half and half 2 sticks butter 2 tsp. vanilla Combine brown sugar, cream or milk + butter. Bring to boil and cook for 6-7 minutes. Add vanilla. Beat (the hell out of it) and ice cake.

Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Mountain Chic: cocktail attire, while dressing for the mountain environment. Keep in mind that the ceremony will be held in a grassy meadow and it will likely become cool at night (even in late May), so please wear appropriate shoes and remember to bring layers.
Please arrive close to 3:30pm if driving yourself, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Shuttle schedules will be assigned based on lodging and need. Please note: There will be a short (5 minute) walk from the ceremony meadow to the reception lodge.
