Flight

Airports and Transportation

Iowa City does not have direct flights, the closest airport is Cedar Rapids (CID) which is about a 40-minute-drive. You may find cheaper flights into surrounding cities: Des Moines (DSM, 2h drive), Omaha Eppley (OMA, 3h 45m drive), Chicago O'Hare (ORD, 3h 15m drive), Chicago Midway (MDW, 3h 40m drive), or Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP, 4h 30m drive). If you are not renting a car or carpooling, you can find cheap Megabus tickets to Iowa City from Chicago, Des Moines, and Omaha. Currently, Iowa City has two ride-sharing services, Lyft and Uber.

The Roethler property has limited space to camp on-site for free with access to shower and toilets. Please indicate you are camping in your RSVP.
