Maid of Honor
Anna and I attended college together and immediately became best friends. Shortly after I realized I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her and we moved in together! That was almost eight years ago! She has become the sister I never had, the co-parent to our three needy cats, and the person I go to when I need absolutely anything. It’s hard to share one favorite memory with Anna when we have so so many. She is quite literally my other half and I cannot express how happy I am for her and JT! He picked the best one out there.
Best Man
After moving to Texas my freshman year of high school, I was introduced to JT through mutual friends on the swim team. We became fast friends and through our mutual love of video games, cards, and thoughtful conversations we grew extremely close. JT taught me to be a better person, to have more empathy for others, to stop and think, and to always make the best out of any situation. He is a man of undying loyalty, love, and selflessness, and I am eternally grateful that I get to call myself his friend.
Matron of Honor
I met Anna in 9th grade English class. We worked on a project together that even though it was terrible (lol), led me to having the best friend I could ever ask for. To narrow down a favorite memory is impossible because I’m lucky enough to always be making new ones with her, but our beach trips tend to be memorable :) I love you Anna!! <3
Groomsman
Since JT is my older brother, I didn’t exactly have a choice in getting to know him. We didn’t always see eye to eye, and we certainly had our differences, but somewhere along the way I went from tolerating him to begging to hang out with him and his older, cooler friends. I realized just how lucky I was, not just to call him my brother, but to call him a friend. JT showed me how to find the light in the dark times and gave me a deeper appreciation for the people in our shared lives. The lessons and memories we’ve collected along the way are priceless. I couldn’t be more excited to watch the next chapter of his life unfold, and this time, I’m not just tagging along. I’m cheering him on every step of the way.

Technically, mine and Anna’s universes merged in high school, where she was in band and I was in choir. Somehow, although our friendship circles constantly overlapped, the world wasn’t quite ready for this monumental planetary event to happen just yet. It wasn’t until 2018- when I inserted my nosey little self into her conversation in the booth behind me at Mia’s Mexican Restaurant- that our timeline officially began. And I’m SO glad I did! After beast-moding her second degree at UTSA, she graced the choir room where I work and has since become the best work partner, friend, and brightest ray of sunlight I’ve ever known. And now, she’s found her moon and stars. What a collision! Love you both so many!

Hey! I’m JT’s older brother, Matt. It is very difficult for me to pick a favorite memory of JT. There are so many good ones. I guess if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the time Dad was teaching JT how to fish and JT managed to sink a hook right into Dad’s thumb. Another bit of JT and Matt lore is: a few times before I left for college, we would get on the roof of our old house at night and just talk about life, listen to music, chill… one of my favorite memories, for sure. I can’t wait to stand by my brother as he gets married!

I have known Anna since I was 11 years old. Moving from a completely different state was terrifying, going into middle school not knowing anyone was terrifying, but she took me in with love and understanding and gave me a place to belong. I cannot thank Anna enough for the love she showed me at a time when I felt so scared. We would scream songs from musicals during sleepovers, listen to Harry Potter with Subway sandwiches in her car, make T-shirts, watch YouTube videos, and laugh for hours.

I've been friends with JT since third grade, which means we've spent nearly 22 years making fun of each other and somehow remaining friends. Whether we were playing golf, throwing discs, or surviving the internet battles of high school, we've shared plenty of great memories. I’m sure JT remembers the countless times he had to yell, "Callum, stop streaming Top Gear!" when my viewing habits consumed all the bandwidth and ruined everyone's League of Legends games (what nerds). I'm grateful for a lifelong friendship with JT and am proud to stand by his side as he celebrates this incredible day with Anna.

I met Anna at UTSA through my now husband, Thomas! Anna, Tori, and Thomas were the only friends I really had when I started college and they’ve been everything to me ever since. We lived together for a couple of years and spending holidays, birthdays, and all the special events together has been my favorite part of knowing and loving Anna!

Matt and JT met in 2nd grade when they were the only two Washington Redskins fans at Steiner Ranch Elementary. They quickly became friends fantasizing about a day where they would go to the Super Bowl. Little did they know the Redskins would continue to suck for 20 years. Now once a year they get to go to Dallas to watch their favorite team either win on the last play of the game or lose by 30. No in between.

Anna and I officially met and became friends in Mr. Stanley’s Stats class in high school. After years of hearing about each other, fate finally intervened and brought us together. My favorite memories are our "stats girls" pizza night/sleep overs we would have and our Port Aransas beach trips! The best of times!

JT and I go all the way back to elementary school. From the early days of terrorizing Steiner Ranch to the glory days of becoming Middle School soccer district champions, we've been through it all. JT is a lifelong brother. 90 minutes for life, man. Let’s get you married!

My first introduction to Anna was a drunk phone call from my then fiancé, Connor, about how his best friend JT met a super pretty teacher at his bachelor party at the Houston renaissance festival. I laughed hysterically! Of course JT met a girl at the ren fest! A few weeks later JT came over and told us all about this amazing girl, with the voice of an angel, that I would love; and boy was he right! Anna and I immediately bonded over books, music, and our love to dress up for Halloween and the ren fest! Our friendship quickly evolved into a deeper bond grounded in honesty, humor, and happy times! Anna is a supernova of joy and love and I am so thrilled to watch her shine!

I met JT through my Kappa Sigma fraternity brothers, and he instantly became another brother, someone I’ve laughed with, trusted, and celebrated with since those days at Texas Tech. One highlight I’ll never forget is helping him get through his college Spanish class. Can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
Mother of the Bride
"Mawage is wot bwings us togever today." ~The Princess Bride As Mother of the (Princess) Bride, I'm proud to acknowledge that the gorgeous, intelligent, and talented Anna has inherited the ability to speak in movie quotes. Now her movie date for life is the handsome, articulate, culinary master, JT. Even though it hasn't been easy to be so far away in Ohio for the past six years, there is great joy in knowing that Anna has become a kind, creative, and clever woman, who is marrying a caring, thoughtful, and generous man. I'm thrilled that Anna and JT are not only good together, but they are genuinely good for each other. To my favorite couple, l hope the wedding day and all the days after will be "as you wish!"

Everybody loves JT. That’s what I always say and it’s true. No matter what is going on, he brings positivity to the situation. He is truly caring which makes you feel good so you always want him around. We know his friends feel that way and needless to say we know Anna does too. When Anna and JT met at the Renaissance Festival, it was just the beginning. We knew JT was totally a goner when we saw that the next year when they went together, he had let her put eyeliner on him for his costume. This clearly showed that he was willing to step out into her world and fully embrace her theatrical background never to look back. And then when JT was in the hospital we saw how Anna stayed by his bedside to make sure he got the best care possible. As his mother that meant the world to me and I knew right then that she would always be there for him. We are thrilled to have Anna as part of our family and find joy in seeing their love for each other. They truly are a dynamic duo.
Father of the Bride
I’m Dave, Anna’s dad, and I couldn’t be more proud of this young woman, my daughter. She is the joy of my life and I love her more than I can express! Not only is she usually the smartest person in the room, and beautiful, and creative, and talented in so many ways – she’s a good human being. She truly cares about other people and of that I am most proud. That’s also why we were so cautiously excited when she and JT started hanging out. He too is a genuinely good person who cares about other people, as well as being smart and talented and all those things. And I can tell he adores Anna, and that especially makes me happy. I can’t wait to have JT as a son-in-law and to enjoy the blending of our families in the years ahead. Congrats you two!
Father of the Groom
I am proud to be JT’s father (daddio or faja as he calls me). JT is a thoughtful, kind, and charismatic person. He has many friends who he has known most of his life — a testimony to his character and loyalty. Stephanie and I are excited to welcome Anna into our family! Anna is a beautiful woman who has many wonderful qualities, including many that make JT an even better man. As the proverb goes: behind every good man is a great woman. JT is a good man made better by having Anna in his life. We are looking forward to their wedding day with much excitement. And we wish them a lifetime of joy, love, and happiness together!
