We can't wait to celebrate with you!

JT and Anna met in the most whimsical of places- the Texas Renaissance Festival. JT was in the role of Best Man at his best friend Connor's bachelor party. Anna was on her annual Ren Fest trip with some of her closest friends. After a day of watching jousts, purchasing medieval trinkets, and drinking a questionable amount of mead; both groups decided to end the evening at the "Knights Club" after party hosted on the faire grounds. Even though JT swears he made the first move, Anna spied the large group of goofy guys on the dance floor and decided to break the ice and merge the two groups. JT quickly spotted the beautiful blonde carrying the iconic Lord of the Rings dagger, "Sting", and knew he HAD to meet her. They spent the next few hours dancing, chatting, and promising to meet up for a date in San Antonio the following weekend. Their first date was over Mexican food at El Mirasol in San Antonio where they talked for so long, they closed down the restaurant. They knew this was something special and these two nerds spent the next two years spending as much time as possible together. Anna now knows more about Magic the Gathering and disc golf than she ever could have imagined, while JT has substantially increased his broadway musical and choral repertoire. JT asked Anna to marry him in a sweet surprise proposal at her Dad's backyard in Boerne, Texas where he had many family and friends secretly waiting to celebrate. JT and Anna currently live in San Antonio close by the high school where Anna teaches choir while JT works in finance from his home office. They live with two of their best friends Tori and Manny, and three adorable cats.
