Our wedding is inspired by our two great loves: exploring the world and the outdoors. Think travel vibes meets farm charm - globes & gardens, just our style!

Caroline and Shana met online (how Gen Z of them). Caroline had just traded AZ sun for NJ trees, and Shana was packing for CA, but sparks flew on their first date at Mr. Crabby’s on 11/23/21.

What started as a quick fling turned into so much more. They said “I love you” on December 19, 2021, after a NJ Devils game - it was love at first puck!

Shana moved to California at the end of 2021, and though long distance wasn’t easy, they (eventually) realized love like theirs was stronger than every mile in between.

By July 2023, Shana was finally back, but barely unpacked before they jumped ship again for a year of beaches, road trips, and kangaroos in Australia!

On 12/18/24, Caroline’s sister Jessica flew from the UK to help with a secret mission. After a tough climb up Wineglass Bay’s steps in Tasmania, Caroline asked Shana to marry her - and she said yes!

We celebrated our engagement in New Zealand with glow worms, Hobbiton, geysers at Te Puia, and paragliding (the one with a parachute + boat) - equal parts magical and terrifying.

On March 24, 2025, it was Shana's turn to propose at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens. She planned a picnic complete with Caroline's favorite things — wine, cheese, pumpkin carving, and a chocolate ring box filled with carrot cake — and even carved the whole question herself!

We’d be remiss not to mention Caroline’s dad, David Schulte, who found, faceted, and beautifully set our stunning sapphires - making our rings truly one of a kind!

Five countries in fewer years of dating (Japan, Greece, Australia, New Zealand, England) - next up: Finland. Guess we’re in it for love and the passport stamps!
