Why are you getting married so far away from Texas?!

Answer

Colorado is where our love story began!! We met at the Steamboat Music Fest in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in January 2018 and have revisited Colorado a few times since. Also, mountains, amazing scenery, wildlife, great weather, outdoor fun galore... Why not?!

Is this a "Parent's Night Out" event?

Kids are some of our favorite people!! However, we kindly request that only children who are related to the Schulman and/or Cooper family attend.

Are you providing a designated driver?

Answer

Yes! For people staying in Boulder, a shuttle will be available to take you to and from the venue. See the travel section for more details!

Is there parking or do I need a helicopter drop-off?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available and there will be a parking attendant present.

Is there Uber or Lyft available in this teeny tiny town?

Answer

Uber and Lyft are not reliable forms of transportation in Lyons, CO. We recommend driving yourself or staying at the WeeCasa or other close by AirBnBs so you can walk! For guests staying in Boulder, catch the shuttle!

What time should I show up, so I catch the vows and not just the free booze?

Answer

We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony start time so everyone can get settled before the proceedings. So about 3:45pm.

What is the dress code - red carpet, yoga pants, or simply "don't upstage the couple"?

Answer

Dressy casual. No formal black ties here, unless you really want to. We're not stoppin' ya. :) We do recommend bringing layers and/or a jacket for the cooler evenings.

Is this party inside or outside? Am I going to sink if I wear my stilettos?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. There are some grassy areas so maybe leave the stilettos at home. The reception will take place inside the climate-controlled barn.

What will the weather like? Am I packing for all four seasons in a few hours?

Answer

The weather in Lyons, CO in October is beautiful! Highs are typically in the high 60s, while the lows are typically in the high 30s. We recommend bringing layers and/or a jacket to keep warm in the evening hours.

Is there an open bar or do we need sneak it in like high school prom?

Answer

Yes, because y'all are our favorite people and we want you to have enough liquid courage to dance like no one is watching. Don't forget to take good care of your bartenders!

Will you be serving dinner or should I bring an emergency snack for when my blood sugar drops?

Answer

Yes, dancing requires energy!! We will be serving some yummy appetizers and dinner.
