It all began in August of 2022 at the Grizzly Rose, where Kenzie had gone out for a fun night of country dancing with her girlfriends. Amidst the music, laughter, and two-stepping, her eyes kept drifting toward a guy across the bar, Cody. Little did she know, Cody had been dragged out of the house that night by his friend Chad. If Garrett hadn't called Chad, If Chad hadn’t shown up and convinced him to go out, their paths might never have crossed. **big shout out to Garrett & Chad** There was an undeniable spark. After a few too many shared glances, Kenzie made the first move. She walked right up to Cody and asked him to dance. And just like that, everything changed. Kenzie wasn’t about to let a good thing slip away. Cody left the bar with her number that night, and by the very next day, they were off on their first adventure together to Daniels Park. From that moment on, they were inseparable. In just three years, their love has taken them through three states, starting in Colorado where they met, then to Idaho, and now to Utah, where they’re planting new roots together. With every move came new memories, new adventures, and an even stronger bond. They’ve built a life full of simple joys, day dates on patios with a cold beer or a glass of wine, brunch on Sundays (especially after church), and afternoons at the park with their dog, Knoxx, playing fetch or going for long drives with the music up and windows down. Some of their favorite days are spent discovering nearby towns, grabbing lunch, and wandering through local shops together with no set plans, just each other. They also love adventuring near and far, taking weekend getaways to places like Jackson Hole, St. George, and Park City, exploring Ohio and Mexico. Whether it’s hiking through mountains, soaking up the sun, or dancing under the stars, every trip adds another unforgettable chapter to their story. Then, on June 29th, at the breathtaking Zion National Park, Cody got down on one knee and asked Kenzie to spend forever with him.
