Father of the Bride
"What can I say? My little girl is all grown up. From the time in this picture when you wanted to eat your first cupcake, to always wanting to do things on your own, you have always succeeded. We see success coming in this marriage as well. Your Mom and I could not be happier for you and Michael. " - Gary
Mother of the Bride
"I’m so excited for Lauren and Michael as they begin their life together as husband and wife. We have enjoyed our friendship with the Schill’s for over ten years, born on the volleyball and basketball courts, and football fields. It has been such a joy watching Michael and Lauren’s acquaintance turn to friendship over time, then grow into love, and to see the wonderful ways they compliment and balance each other as individuals. We delightfully celebrate the two becoming one. Congratulations Lauren and Michael, I love you both so much!" - Janet
Officiant and Father of the Groom
"When Kay was pregnant with Michael in 1992, we began praying for the little girl who would one day marry our son. Not knowing who she would be, we asked God to place his hand of grace upon her life and nurture her to become the right complement to meet and marry our son. How delighted we are with Lauren. As we grow in our knowledge of her, we are grateful to God for answered prayer and encouraged by His goodness. Lauren is a remarkable woman, and we are so thrilled about her marriage to Michael. " - Gus
Mother of the Groom
When Michael first showed me the ring I was thrilled! Biz and I had this figured out ten years ago back in the football stands. God kept weaving our families together until Lauren said yes November of 2016. Michael had planned for a 2017 New Year’s Eve engagement, but true to Michael and his heart he couldn’t wait to ask the love of his life. I can’t blame him. Lauren you warmed this mother’s heart as you relentlessly took care of Michael with compassion and kindness when he was sick during Biz and Brandon’s wedding. You endure the Schill men bantering like a pro. Michael, I am proud of the man you have become. Your desire for everyone to “be happy” has never waned since you were a child. God has shaped you in unique ways to be the “perfect mate” for Lauren, just as she has been for you.
Maid of Honor
Lauren's best friend since middle school. "When Lauren and I met, we were just starting our middle school years. From the start, Lauren became like a sister to me – we’ve celebrated the good times, cried together, laughed together and I am forever grateful that I’ve had her by my side for the past ten years. I’ll never forget hearing Lauren tell me about Michael for the first time – there was something in her voice and her eyes would light up every time we talked about him. Watching Lauren and Michael grow from childhood friends to starting their lives together as husband and wife has been the greatest privilege. I love you both dearly and cannot wait to celebrate this new chapter." - Zo

Lauren's sister. "I’m not quite sure even where to start with this. Growing up, Lauren has always been my saving grace/hedge of protection. That is one of the many things I can always count on her for. Over the years, we have never changed; from always sleeping with each other on Christmas Eve night, cuddling during silly chick flick movies, and forever ganging up on Alex (the one and only Ball boy). Lauren may not be a Ball for much longer, but she will always be my 'Sissy.'" - Cat Cat

Lauren's cousin. "Lauren was my first best friend, and someone I am blessed to have had to look up to growing up. From front porch Lizzie McGuire concerts, to hearing my son’s first heart beats, we’ve done it all together. I’ve been blessed beyond measures with a cousin like Lauren, and I couldn’t be happier for her big day, and all the future holds!" - Maddie
Bridesmaid
Lauren's college roommate, and one of her best friends. "One of the very first times I met Lauren, she went through my closet and borrowed one of my outfits for a party; and two years later nothing has changed. Just like a sister, Lauren was there for me throughout most of my college life unlike anyone else. Watching her relationship grow with Michael from his very first visit to NC State, to him stealing her away at 4 AM to travel to Tybee Island to propose, I could not be happier to be a part of their journey, and I look forward to so many more years of being their friend!" - Jo
Bridesmaid
Lauren's college roommate, and one of her best friends. "Lauren and I’s friendship has consisted of many laughs and cries, as most do. We laugh when cockroaches invade our showers. We cry when we’ve had bad days. But that’s what friends are for; to be there through any kind of day. Especially one’s wedding day! It’s been such a wonderful journey watching Lauren and Michael’s relationship flourish. The love and compatibility they share is beautiful. I’m so happy to stand by their sides as they embark this new journey!" - Maddy
Bridesmaid
Lauren's college roommate, and one of her best friends. “From the first time I met Lauren I could tell that we were going to be life long friends. She is one of the most genuine and compassionate girls I know and deserves nothing but the best and that is what Michael gives her! Watching their relationship grow seems like it all happened over night, but when I really look back on the years it seems more like God’s plan from the start. One of my first memories of Lauren was from our freshman year of college where she was telling me about this boy from her hometown: Michael. Over the next 2 years there would always seem to be sporadic stories about him. The compatibility that these two share is undeniable and I can't wait to see the beautiful journey they take as husband and wife.” -Heather
Bridesmaid
Lauren's college roommate, and one of her best friends. "Sometimes you'll hear horror stories about college roommates, but when I met Lauren I knew I had nothing to worry about. Lauren came into my life with a hug and a smile, and though 5 years has gone by her warm greeting remains the same. From day 1 we've been a source of strength for the other, from her bringing me to the gym to me bringing her to the library to have study dates. We've had lots of memories together that I hold dear: our weekend trip to Asheville, her bringing me to my first football game, our drastically different body temps and us surviving in a tiny dorm room. My time at NCSU would not have been as enjoyable if I hadn't been blessed with knowing Lauren! I’m ecstatic for my stunning, confident, Southern belle!"

Michael's sister - Lauren's high school friend. "Michael and I are twenty-five months apart. Growing up we did everything together. We had the same friend groups, shared classes and even had joint birthday parties. He was my best friend and we were each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Now I get to stand by his side as he marries his best friend. Lauren who is not only the love of Michael’s life but also my dear friend since middle school. I was there when their friendship started and I have the Facebook status to prove that I loved her first. Who would have thought that we would go from sharing a jersey number to sharing the same name. Welcome to the family Lauren, I could not be happier to call you sister. Love you both so incredibly much and here’s to a lifetime of friendship." - Biz
Best Man
Michael's best friend since college. “Michael and I have been referred to as many things: roommates, brothers, teammates, best friends, and an old married couple. Throughout our friendship that began in college, Michael has been the one there for me when I needed to have a deep conversation while stuffing our faces with as much Wendy's as you can buy for $5. I'm so excited that Michael is marrying Lauren- his tough, strong, beautiful, and loving bride to be. From Michael's roommate, brother, teammate, and best friend, I am more than happy to pass the title of being the other half in that old married couple to Lauren.” - Geoff

Michael's (and Lauren's soon to be!), brother in law. "What can I say? Michael is a brother-in-law that I’m proud to have. I have throughly enjoyed getting to know him and building a brotherly relationship. As my wife’s oldest brother, I knew it would be a challenge to gain his trust and approval. He’s a tough, intelligent, and conscious guy with strong values. We had a brief initial meeting, and I wasn’t sure what he thought. But over time, we both realized how much we have in common and became close. I am so happy that my bro has found the woman of his dreams. From best friends to forever friends, Michael and Lauren are going to have a wonderful marriage. I’m honored to be a groomsman and I can’t wait to celebrate with them in May." - Brandon

Lauren's brother. "Some people say that getting married at 20 is too early, and getting married at 30 is too late; I don't think that there is any particular age when you should get married. You should be patient, and get married when you finally meet the one you're truly supposed to spend your life with. When Lauren told me that her and Michael were getting married, I knew right away she was making the right choice, I truly believe that my sister has met the man of her dreams and I couldn't be happier to welcome Micheal as my brother. I love you both." - Alex
Groomsman
Michael's brother. "I've known Michael longer than I have just about any other person on earth. I've seen his highlights and bad plays, and he's seen mine. I've known him through his chubby phase and his days as a high school jock. As well as his time as a collegiate athletic, and finally, chubby phase number 2. Apart from getting one last jab at him, I tell you this to back the point I am about to make: that this version of Michael, the one that loves and is loved by Lauren, is the greatest yet. I have been incredibly blessed to see not only Michael's journey to this point, but to have been a part of Lauren's as well. Lauren has been many things to this family throughout the years; she has been a blessing to us all and I can't wait to call her sister, and for Michael to call her wife."

Michael's brother. "I was blessed to experience a priceless childhood and Michael was the foundation for it. From building random tree forts up in the woods, to having him be my high school football coach, Michael has always been there for me. He is a constant teacher, loyal friend and best brother that anyone could ask for. He taught me how to make forts, build a fire, use a knife, pitch a tent, replace a tire, compete in sporting events, be a comforting friend and most importantly how to be a genuine person. Every second that I have spent with him has never been a second wasted. Lauren has been like a sister to me ever since I met her, Michael well done, you out kicked your coverage. I am incredibly happy for you both and proud to call you my family." - JP

One of Michael's best friends from college. “When I made it to Sewanee, Michael was one of the first people I had met and I knew immediately that the next four years were going to be one hell of a time. From school, to football, and post-grad life, Michael has always shown the level dedication and loyalty that you wish for out of one of your best friends. When Michael asked me to be a part of his wedding with Lauren, I was truly honored (and surprised that he has forgiven me for schooling him on the basketball court). Lauren is marrying a great man, who I am glad to call my friend and my brother, and I cannot wait to see the amazing things that you two will accomplish.” - Brandon

One of Michaels best friends from college. “Some may know him as Michael but let there be no mistake, his name is Schill. Schill and I were roommates my sophomore, his junior, year of college and what a glorious year it was. As a teammate and a brother, Michael became someone who I could count on regardless of the situation. From always being ready for a random midweek Mi Casa trip and still making it to Friday morning workouts on time, to always finding time to watch some ball with the boys and that’s not to mention that I still owe him one for convincing Savannah to go on that first date with me, Schill was the epitome of a good friend and a good man. Congratulations and I look forward to sharing this day with the both of you” - Montana

Michael's friend and former coworker from Asheville School. "Michael and I got lucky, to be honest. The two of us somehow went through four years at Sewanee and barely knew each other. It might have been due to us both playing sports during different seasons, but still I can’t believe we did it. I’ll never forget waiting in line for graduation and leaning over to Michael to say “Hey, are you working at Asheville School next year?" After that, we became close friends that would never look back. I had the joy of living above Michael in an apartment at Asheville School. I am so happy for both Michael and Lauren!" - CJ
