Matsumoto Shave Ice
One of the best shave ice on the island with local favorite syrups like lychee, lilikoi, mango and li hing mui! For best flavoring add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and/or azuki bean!!
Hanauma Bay Hike
Great hike with spectacular view from the point at Hanauma looking back toward the bay. Don't forget a few bottles of water and definitely wear sunscreen! Park anywhere on Nawiliwili St. and hike up toward the bay to get your power-walking on!
Rainbow Drive-In
Get yourself some authentic Hawaiian breakfast during your stay. Do yourself a favor and get the Loco Moco. Kelly went with a traditional breakfast and was envious of Jake's savory meal and she has been unable to find anything remotely close to it on the main land.
Kualoa Ranch Jurassic Park Tour
We will be getting married in the general area Jurassic Park was filmed. Which is pretty ironic considering Kelly has an irrational fear of Velociraptors. Lol 😂 But we know many of you are fans of the movies and think it may be worth a visit. 🦖🦕

Where Jake learned how to cook, this island restaurant chain remains a local favorite. Zippy's has everything savory from Loco Moco (a fried egg atop a hamburger steak, drizzled in gravy), teriyaki meats and their signature chili and macaroni salad, this place has it all for whatever your tummy desires.
Tanioka's Seafoods & Catering
A local hotspot for the avid Poke enthusiast! Poke is raw fish (usually tuna) marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil, sea salt, ginger, thin onion slices, and green onion. Amongst the vast array of different poke selections, you can find other local packaged goods to snack on while you're here, or bring home and give to loved ones.
