Our wedding is on Oahu, so you will need to fly into Honolulu Airport (HNL). PS: Make sure to check Southwest for flights to Hawaii in your search, they had some great deals recently AND you get 2 free bags per person!
Although we are getting married in Kaneohe, we recommend staying in the Waikiki Beach region. We will be staying at the Hale Koa if you are wanting to stay near us. This is a very touristy area with lots to see and do. You can get basically everywhere on foot and if its a bit further, you can easily take an Uber, Lyft or Taxi.
It is not completely necessary to rent a car during your stay, especially if you stay down in Waikiki Beach. There is so much accessible in easy walking distance with beautiful sights the whole way! We will be providing transportation to and from the venue for those traveling from out of state and who are staying in Waikiki!
In the past I have used Roberts Hawaii Airport Shuttle and it has been very reliable. It is about $23/person from the airport to your place of stay. https://www.airportshuttlehawaii.com/oahu-shuttle/rates-and-terms/
Most definitely! I know traveling with kids is a challenge, but if you are making the journey...turn it in to a family vacation and make the most out of it! If I have not included your kids on the list and you want them to come please just reach out and we will add them to the list so we can plan meals accordingly. You are also more than welcome to use this as an opportunity for a kid free date night. :)
