Things To Do

Windjammers

4695 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14612

These are hands down the best wings in Rochester — and according to Kayla, maybe even all of Buffalo (bold claim, we know). We loved it so much we spent Valentine’s Day here- because nothing says romance like incredible wings. It’s one of our all-time favorite spots and a true hidden gem. If you’ve got the time, don’t miss this safely guarded hole-in-the-wall. Our must-order sauces: Smokey Mountain dry rub and garlic parmesan. Trust us — you’ll thank us later.

Rochester Public Market

Rochester Public Market, Rochester, NY 14609

The Rochester Public Market has always been special to us. Matt worked at one of the stands when he was younger, and now I go almost every Saturday (weather permitting!) with his dad, Pete. What started as a local tradition has become one of our favorite shared places. Between the fresh produce, incredible food vendors, and vibrant atmosphere, it’s more than just a market — it’s a place filled with memories, family, and a little bit of our story.

The Strong National Museum of Play

1 Manhattan Square Drive, Rochester, NY 14607

We may not have visited The Strong National Museum of Play yet, but we love what it represents — joy, creativity, and holding onto your inner child. It’s the kind of place that reminds us that a little playfulness goes a long way in life and in love. We’re looking forward to exploring it together someday soon.

Durand Eastman Park

1200 Kings Highway North, Rochester, NY 14617

We ended up here on our first date, and now we’re lucky enough to live just down the street. In the summer, we walk here often, soaking in the beauty that truly shines in every season. If you’re looking for the perfect morning stroll, this is the spot. It’s a place that holds such special memories for us — and we simply love it here.
