No! At no point should you expect us to make you stand outside longer than the walks to get into the venues. We love the snow and winter, but we are NOT going for a immersion experience.
We chose January in honor of Kayla’s grandparents, Noreen and Jim Gurney. Their wedding anniversary was January 16th—they were married in Florida (so no snow for them!). Jim passed away in May 2014, just short of their 50th anniversary, and Noreen followed in May 2025. Family means everything to us, and this felt like a special way to honor their love.
We adore your kids! However, we’re keeping our big day adults-only. We hope this gives you a chance to relax and celebrate with us.
