No! There is no WiFi and essentially no cell reception. Please plan accordingly for the wedding since we will not be able to communicate via phone once we're up there.
Mt. Lemmon in May is beautiful! Sunny days with highs around 65º-75º and lows around 37º-47º. We suggest bringing a jacket as the temperatures can drop once the sun goes down.
Sincerely, come as you are. If you want to show up in sandals and a cut-off shirt, go for it! If you want to get a little more fancy via a sundress or button-up shirt, be our guest. The bride and groom prioritize function over fashion, and all they care about is that you feel comfortable! The entire wedding is on a campground, so do take that into consideration when it comes to footwear 🥾 It can get chilly at night/in the shade so dressing in layers is your best bet. Here are some examples of dressing more casually: https://pin.it/1beQiFamC Here are some examples for getting a wee bit more fancy ;) https://pin.it/5CDQlZBvv (Apologies for not being able to hyperlink 🥴 But you can copy and paste the URLs above to see the examples for clothing attire)
There are 30 designated parking spots at the camp itself (a few of which will be taken up by the bridal party). We ask that you please carpool with at least four people per vehicle so as to not overcrowd the limited parking. There is also a small parking lot at Bigelow Trailhead across the street from the camp. This parking area is open to the public and may fill up, but it shouldn't be too bad since our wedding is on a Friday!
Yes! Tent camping is allowed. There is no room for RVs and trailers.
Mt Bigelow offers free camping for tents and trailers. Since our wedding is on a Friday, if you head up on Thursday, you should find plenty of camping spots available.
Yes! Kids are welcome.
Sadly, the campground doesn't allow pets 🥲
There are bleachers, chairs, and straw bales available for seating. You are more than welcome (and encouraged) to bring your seating of choice! Whatever will help make you most comfortable during your time on the mountain ☺️ ⛰️
