What is the recommended attire?

Answer

We're planning to look our best so we hope you all will enjoy dressing up with us! Recommended attire is Black-Tie Optional - for gentlemen opt for a tux or dark suit, for ladies long dresses or formal cocktail dresses are preferred.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will take place indoors, however, there is an outdoor terrace that guests are able to enjoy!

Will there be transportation to and from the event?

Answer

Yes! We have a trolley from The Graduate/The Study to the New Haven Lawn Club with return trips after the reception. First trolley will leave promptly at 4:30pm and will come back for another trip around 4:50pm. Trolley rides back to the hotels begin at 9:30pm with the last trip being 11:00pm.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot with ample spaces for all our guests. We recommend planning for the shuttle or ubers if you plan on partying! Vehicles may be left overnight if needed, but be sure to come back in the morning to pick them up.

Is there a room block?

Answer

Yes, please visit the travel section! Both The Graduate and The Study have rooms available with no minimum for nights. If the block is full please contact Alyssa so they can add more rooms. **Note October is a busy month for New Haven and nearby colleges, we recommend booking accommodations sooner rather than later!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an Unplugged Ceremony, so we kindly ask that you refrain from photos. We have our wonderful photographer and videographer to capture the winning shots which we will be sure to share! Once we hit cocktail hour and reception, please feel free to snap away! Make sure you share with Alyssa and Jack :)
