Wedding Party

Meet our best friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Brian Whitley

Officiant

David has known Brian his entire life. Their friendship began in the third grade at North St. Elementary School. They grew up together and had endless childhood memories to share, especially during high school. They've played basketball together since the meeting, even though David has yet to win a game against him. Their favorite job together was working concerts at the Performing Arts Center. Although they were fired multiple times, they continued to show up. When David visits his home, one of his first stops is to see Brian and his beautiful family. They still talk on the phone every week.

Christa Kruser

Maid of Honor

Christa and Kim have been best friends for 37 years. They grew up playing on the hillside of Prescott St. and having dance parties with Christopher to The J. Geils Band record. They remained best friends through it all, even after moving away in fifth grade and going to separate high schools and colleges. They have been through every major life event together, from mud pies, high school, moving across the country, getting and losing pets, dating in their twenties, to both becoming moms to two amazing boys, Maxwell and Arlo. Christa is brilliant and can build or craft almost anything! You need your car fixed; a quilt made, a new dress, she can make all of it for you! Kim couldn’t imagine doing life without her and looks forward to years of friendship to come.

Todd Fuhrman

Best Man

David met Todd while working at Caesars back in 2007, and the bromance began shortly after that. If you know Todd, you realize he's the kind of friend that's there to offer advice when needed or also point and laugh when life gets too serious. The guys have shared several unforgettable experiences. From living together to sharing in fantasy football glory to international travel that included stops in Australia, Mexico, New Zealand (not by choice), and Rochester, the guys formed a bond that's hard to replicate. Todd has been considered family since the infamous Thanksgiving incident of 2013; Rebecca tells that kitchen calamity best. Please ask Todd about some of his favorite stories over the last decade with David but don't ask him about sports; he knows nothing about them.
