It started with a swipe and a gif. After chatting and texting for ten days, we decided to meet. Kim was extremely nervous on the drive over; David just talked about how windy it was (which gave Kim a good laugh). One of the highlights of our six-hour conversation was our similarities between friends and childhood. We have one picture from the date after David wanted proof that Kim carried a Blockbuster card (she still carries it). After a great first date, we decided to meet the next day again. From then on, it has always been fun and exciting; we are fortunate. Our first year of dating included Wednesday date nights, trips home to meet family, and many laughs while getting to know each other. When David moved in, he described it as the same feeling as going to summer camp. Although this time, the camp included a sweet Pitbull (Mia), a Great Dane (Raisin), and, as Kim would say, "the most handsome cat in the world - Oliver." We love our little family and are each other's biggest supporters. There is a lot to look forward to in 2021- Kim started a new career, while David is continuing his fight through grad school (I-L-L). And we are getting married in the same spot where David proposed at Grandpa John's. We are very grateful and excited for the future. Thank you for celebrating our wedding with us.
