Grant is Reid’s older brother and someone Reid has always looked up to. While the two had a typical brother relationship growing up, their bond became much stronger after Grant moved away for college. Over the years, Grant has taught Reid everything from hunting to countless life lessons. Whether they’re talking about life, the outdoors, or completely random topics, the two still talk almost every day. Reid is incredibly thankful to have not only a brother in Grant, but also a lifelong role model and friend.

Emily met Lexi playing t-ball softball, where they admittedly started out as “enemies” thanks to Lexi’s fearless competitiveness and Emily’s hesitation to jump into the chaos. Before long, though, the two became inseparable. Together they spent their childhood roughhousing, camping in the woods, attempting to make s’mores without burning the house down, and playing Minecraft for hours on end. Although their sports paths eventually split, their friendship never did. No matter how much time passes, they always pick right back up where they left off, and Emily knows Lexi will forever be one of her biggest cheerleaders.
Bronson Kooy
Best Man
Bronson and Reid became friends in high school and have been inseparable ever since. Through every season of life, the two have consistently supported each other, always willing to give advice, have difficult conversations, or simply show up when needed most. Although they briefly attended different colleges their freshman year, that distance did not last long after Bronson transferred to the University of Saint Francis. Since then, the friendship has only continued to grow stronger. Over the years, Bronson has become much more than a best friend; he has become family.

As first cousins, Emily and Jenna grew up side by side making memories together. From sharing American Girl Dolls and Hannah Montana wigs to arguing over who got to play teacher, they spent their childhood attached at the hip. As they got older, their relationship grew into an even deeper friendship. Jenna’s fun-loving, magnetic personality naturally draws people in, and she brings energy and laughter everywhere she goes. The Bride feels incredibly lucky not only to call Jenna family, but also to call her one of her very best friends.
Gabe Schepers

Gabe is Reid’s younger brother and easily the strongest member of the Schepers family. Gabe has a personality that instantly makes people smile and brings joy everywhere he goes. Reid and Gabe spend a lot of time together hanging out, watching movies, and continuing their long-standing Pizza Friday tradition. Gabe also has dreams of becoming a superhero someday, and Reid fully supports that plan. More than anything, Gabe has one of the biggest hearts and is deeply loved by everyone around him.

Emily met Katelyn during their freshman year at Marian University after convincing her to join one of many euchre nights. From that point on, the friendship came naturally. Katelyn is one of the sweetest and most loyal people Emily knows, always showing up for the people she loves with genuine kindness and support. Her calm and caring personality makes everyone around her feel valued, and Emily has never once questioned Katelyn’s love or loyalty. She is the kind of friend who brings comfort, encouragement, and unwavering support no matter the season of life.

Caleb and Reid are lifelong family friends who have grown up side by side for as long as they can remember. Growing up, the two spent countless nights having sleepovers, playing games, and causing plenty of chaos together. As they’ve gotten older, their friendship has remained just as strong. Whether they’re working out together, chasing goals, or simply catching up on life, Caleb has always been someone Reid can count on. Reid is incredibly thankful for a friendship that has lasted through every stage of life.

Emily met Makenna through Reid’s best man, Bronson Kooy, who also happens to be Makenna’s husband. Over time, what started as casual time spent together slowly turned into a close friendship that completely snuck up on Emily. One day she realized Makenna had become one of the people she trusted and valued most. Thoughtful, creative, and endlessly crafty, Makenna is someone who puts care into everything she does. Emily is so thankful their lives crossed paths and cannot imagine this chapter of life without her friendship.

Trey and Reid met during a college tour during their senior year of high school, although Emily still insists she introduced them after becoming close friends with Trey during their freshman year of college. No matter who gets credit, the three quickly became inseparable. Trey has been a constant friend through some of the biggest years of Reid and Emily’s lives, always bringing humor, loyalty, and support wherever he goes. Their friendship has created countless memories and remains one Reid deeply values.

Emily met Elizabeth during freshman year at Marian University when they lived directly across the hall from one another. What began as neighboring dorm rooms quickly turned into a friendship built on loyalty, support, and countless life talks. Throughout college, the two leaned on each other through every high and low, helping piece one another back together whenever life felt overwhelming. Even after Elizabeth transferred to Texas, their friendship never skipped a beat. No matter the distance, Elizabeth has remained one of Emily’s most dependable and cherished friends.

Aidan and Reid met during freshman year of college while surviving football camp together and spending time in the infamous dorm room 240. Their friendship quickly grew through long practices, difficult classes, and navigating college life side by side. Both being part of the PTA and Exercise Science programs at USF gave them even more time together studying, training, and encouraging one another through the challenges of school and football. Over the years, Aidan has become one of Reid’s closest and most dependable friends.

Emily met Lauren during freshman year of college at a house party at the University of Saint Francis, Marian’s rival school. Lauren’s confidence, huge heart, and take-charge personality immediately stood out. She is one of the most selfless people Emily knows and consistently puts others before herself without hesitation. Lauren has a way of making people feel supported, welcomed, and cared for simply by being herself. Emily admires how genuine and unapologetic Lauren is and feels incredibly grateful to have such a loyal and uplifting friend by her side.

Seth and Reid became friends during freshman year of high school while playing football together and running around with the same group of friends. Over the years, their friendship has remained steady through countless rounds of golf, nights out, and plenty of laughs together. Seth is someone Reid can always count on to make any situation more entertaining. Although the two used to enjoy going out to the bars together, their wallets now advise them otherwise.

Emily also met Isabella at the same University of Saint Francis house party where she met Lauren, and she quickly learned that Isabella brings light everywhere she goes. She is the ultimate hype woman, always finding ways to celebrate and encourage the people around her. Beneath her joyful personality is someone incredibly strong, caring, and selfless. Isabella carries herself with grace no matter what life throws at her, while still making everyone around her feel deeply loved. The Bride is endlessly thankful for her friendship and the positivity she brings into every room.
Noah Robinson

Noah is Emily’s brother and has become one of Reid’s friends throughout their relationship. The two bonded through their shared love of hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, and have spent plenty of time hunting and golfing together over the years. Beyond being Emily’s brother, Noah has always been one of her very best friends, making it even more meaningful to Reid to build such a close friendship with him as well. Whether they’re talking sports, being outside, or simply giving each other a hard time, Reid feels incredibly lucky to not only gain Emily as his future wife, but also Noah as a lifelong friend.

Jeannelle was one of the couple's closest friends and someone who played such a meaningful role in both of their lives. Emily and Jeannelle grew up together, as their families have been close for decades. The girls spent countless weekends sitting under wrestling bleachers while their brothers competed. Reid and Jeannelle later became close in high school when she was the manager for his football team, and before long, Emily, Reid, Bronson, and Jeannelle had created a friendship that felt more like family. The Rooney family will always hold a special place in all of their hearts. Although Jeannelle lost her battle with pediatric melanoma, her spirit continues to shine brightly in the lives of those who loved her most. She was full of sass, love, and unforgettable energy, truly the best kind of guardian angel. Even though she is deeply missed every day, Emily and Reid know she will forever be their loudest cheerleader from above.

Jason and Reid met through Westfield football and Reid’s friendship with Jason’s sister, Jeannelle. Over the years, the two have built a close friendship through working together at Central Indiana Insulation and spending countless hours together outside of work as well. Jason and Reid also both believe they could take each other in a wrestling match, although Reid would like it clearly stated that Jason would lose. Jason currently serves in the Army, and Reid and Emily are incredibly thankful for both his friendship and his service to the country.

Catherine is Emily’s cousin and the daughter of Stacie and John Moritz. She is incredibly bright, confident, and observant, always noticing the little things others might miss. Whether she’s reading Harry Potter, riding horses, playing volleyball, or out swimming the competition at the pool, Catherine gives everything her full effort. Emily loves watching her grow into such a thoughtful and determined young woman.
Calvin Robinson

Calvin is one of Emily’s cousin, as well as the oldest son of Brock and Natalie Robinson. He is endlessly curious, incredibly intelligent, and always asking questions that keep everyone on their toes. Calvin has the biggest heart, especially when it comes to animals, and cares deeply about the people and things he loves. Emily admires both his kindness and the way his mind is always working.

Kent is Calvin’s younger brother. He is truly one of the sweetest boys and has a personality that instantly makes people smile. Kent loves Sonic the Hedgehog, Spider-Man, and singing loudly enough for everyone nearby to hear him. His joyful spirit and affectionate personality make him impossible not to love.

Olivia is Catherine’s younger sister. She is full of personality, endlessly outgoing, and truly has never met a stranger. Olivia is the life of the party and somehow always ends up at the center of the dance floor singing and dancing her heart out. Her energy, confidence, and hilarious one-liners keep everyone around her entertained.

CeCe is another cousin and the youngest sibling of the Robinson crew. She keeps everyone entertained with her hilarious expressions and big personality. While she may have the sweetest little face, CeCe is never afraid to tell it exactly like it is. She is equal parts adorable, sassy, and completely unforgettable.

Eliza is the youngest member of the wedding party. She is the daughter of Bronson and Makenna Kooy, who are both incredibly special to Emily and Reid. Even before making her arrival, Eliza was already deeply loved by the people around her. The couple cannot wait to watch her grow up surrounded by such a wonderful family.
