What should I wear?

Answer

We understand that suits and fancy dresses can be uncomfortable. But it is also uncomfortable being the only person in ripped jeans and a stained shirt. Please feel free to wear something comfortable, but classy. We all want to look nice for pictures

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

All festivities will be held at Station 2 in Wilmington, NC. Street address: 602 S Fifth Ave Wilmington, NC. 28401

Who should I bring?

Answer

Please bring yourself (obviously) and reference your invitation for a plus one. We would like to keep this event as intimate as possible and celebrate love with our closest friends and family.

But what about these kids?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you! We wanted to kindly let you know that, due to venue restrictions and to ensure a more intimate experience, this event will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children in the family. We truly hope you can join us for the festivities, and we appreciate your understanding. So find a sitter, call your parents, and let yourselves relax for a weekend!

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail a RSVP?

Technology has come a long way and we put a lot of effort in to putting together this website, so it is preferred if you RSVP online through the QR code that is printed on your save the date and/or invitation. You are still more than welcome to send a paper RSVP.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

There was a lot of planning and stressors that went into making sure that all of our friends and family could attend this day with us. Please RSVP at least a month in advance. We hate being pains in the back so if you are not able to attend let us know, we'll be sad, but we totally understand.

Where will I park?

Answer

There is a small lot next to the venue as well as a parking lot across the street. There is also plenty of street parking near by.

Will there be a shuttle from the reception to lodging?

Answer

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide transportation from the reception. Please keep this in mind when partaking in drinks, I can promise you none of the paramedics want to do any work throughout the night. Drink Wisconsinbly.

What kind of weather can we expect?

Answer

Most of the locals to NC are familiar with the weather in April, but for the out of towners, the temperatures should be pretty comfortable. There is always a possibility for rain, which we have taken into consideration and have a contingency plan for the ceremony, if necessary.

What is on the menu for dinner?

Answer

We have decided to take a nontraditional approach to dinner. There will be snacks and drinks during cocktail hour, but dinner will be serves from a food truck rather than a buffet style or per plate dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions, peruse this website to find the description of the food truck that will be present.

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

Our Amazon gift registry is located in the "registry" tab of Zola. As many of you know traveling can be a bit pricey and so can wedding, so a contribution to the honeymoon fund would be a great gift. However, the best gift you can give is being there with us and having fun!

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Feel free to arrive at least fifteen to thirty minutes before the ceremony is scheduled to start at 3:00PM. We would love to have everyone seated before this time so that everyone can participate. Keep in mind that the venue is open to the public starting at 12:00 so if you arrive early you'll be welcomes by the staff of the venue, but festivities will not begin until 3:00

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

It would be greatly appreciated if everyone could abide by the "unplugged" rule. We all rely heavily on our devices, but there is nothing quite like living in the moment and experiencing the day as it comes. We paid good money to have a professional photographer present to capture the day in the best way possible. There will be a thirty second window during the ceremony where everyone can snap a photo if they would like. However, if our photographer catches any photos of people with their phones up during the ceremony, it has been agreed that they will be photoshopped with a chicken in their hands. So please, keep your devices in your pockets.

Can I share the photos that I take?

At each of your tables, we have provided a QR code that you can scan with your phones that will open a shared album, where you can share all the photos that you take during the day!

If we missed answering any possible questions, pleasure don't hesitate to reach our to either Justin or Amanda. They will do their best to answer them as best as they can.
