Yes, there will be transportation provided to and from the venue at a designated location in Golden/Denver West area.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

To take the provided transportation to and from the venue. If you would like to drive- Take I-70 W to CO-103 S in Idaho Springs. Take exit 240 from I-70 W. Take exit 240 for CO-103 toward Mt Evans. Turn left onto CO-103 S. The venue will be a couple miles down on the left. Address: Blackstone Rivers Ranch, 3673 Chicago Creek Rd, Idaho Springs, CO 80452

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the venue. No cars can be left there overnight. We will be providing transportation to and from the venue at specified times and pick up spots. There are little to no Ubers + Lyfts in the area of the venue. Ubers + Lyfts can take you to the venue if you would like- but you will have to take the provided transportation back to Golden/Denver West drop off points.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue is outdoors. The ceremony and cocktail hours will be outdoors. The reception will be tented.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-Formal Attire. For our summer wedding, our ceremony will be held outdoors on a terrace. We suggest that men wear a lightweight suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Are there any styles or colors you'd prefer me to wear?

Our theme is mountain wildflowers and so we ask that you get a little creative and colorful with your semi-formal wedding attire.

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

For Golden in August :82°F highs, 53°F lows; it generally feels pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze. There might also be a small chance of rain, but not usually and not for extended periods of time For Idaho Springs: an average high of 77°F (25°C) and a low of 47°F (8°C), it generally feels mildly cool with a gentle breeze. Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 651 S Depew Street, Lakewood, CO 80226. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by a cocktail hour following an open bar at the reception.

Yes, there will be an open bar with a variety of beer, wine and liquor.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Our reception will end at 11pm, then the transportation will be taking everyone back to the drop off locations. After Party Location is still TBD.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Answer

All of our guests are invited to join us for a welcome cocktail party on the evening before our wedding at Buffalo Rose as well as all of our guests are invited to go tubing and bar hopping in Golden on Saturday. All details are in the Schedule page.

BOOK HERE: https://adventurewestco.com/book-now/ We are all going tubing on the clear creek river in Golden. There is 2 check in times because we are a large party and it's a small business! They also become fully booked every weekend during summer so make sure you reserve your spot ASAP!!!! OUR TIMES ARE AT 1:00pm OR 1:20pm! DONT WORRY we will all be together regardless of the time slot you chose. There is two time slots because its a small place and they can only check in so many people at once. It's just for them to check you in and give you a tube then we will all get on the bus together and go down the river together. When you book your tubing reservation make sure you get the TUBE AND SHUTTLE rental (unless you want to hike your tube 1.5 miles up river lol) It is around $40 per person with tax and this will include your tube and 2 shuttles to the drop off point. If you are local and have your own tube and don't want to rent or do the shuttle meet us at the Clear Creek Trailhead Parking Lot at 1:30ish We will also be saving a spot along the river in the park to hang out before, after and during tubing if you didn't want to tube but still wanted to be with everyone! (see the map below). Then we can walk around downtown and bar hop! CANNOT WAIT! THIS IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE SUMMER ACTIVITIES AND IT IS A BLAST! Be sure to wear/bring tennis shoes/water shoes/sandals with backs on them that you don't mind getting wet! And bring a change of clothes and a towel to go bar hopping/hang out after.
