You’ll see the Flatirons as soon as you cross into Boulder valley. These dang things are iconic, and are super easy to get to. There are several trails to take of varying difficulties, but for those acclimated to the altitude, we recommend the Royal Arch trail. The views from the top can’t be beat.
The greatest concert venue on the planet, with no bad seats in the house. Whether you go for a show, or just to walk the stairs and visit the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, this place is worth the visit.
One of Matt and Alexa’s favorite places. They have a few locations across town, but this is the original. Also, get fries with your order not the standard chips, you won’t regret it.
Barack Obama and Guy Fieri have eaten here. If that doesn’t sell you, Robert Redford worked here while attending CU. Still not convinced? There’s amazing art and scrawled notes on the walls and ceilings from CU classes and Boulder residents since the 1920s.
Pearl Street is the heart of downtown Boulder and just a block away from our wedding venue! Walk up and down the mall for some great people watching, delicious food and drink, and all kinds of stores.
First discovered by Harry and Sharon, this is now one of Matt and Alexa’s favorite local restaurants! They have a rotating menu with small plates and some larger entrees and delicious cocktails.
This is where we had our first date :) It’s small (though they are opening a larger location) with a tight menu and prosecco on tap. They also have fresh oysters too, if that’s your bag.
The Best Man’s place of work, the Denver Zoo is a fantastic place to visit! We particularly love seeing the giraffes and otters.
