Dahlonega is known for its wineries, Montaluce is a beautiful scenic winery that feels like you are in Italy. But if this is something that interests you, there are a ton in the area I encourage you to google and see what one you would like to visit!
If you have a chance to drive about 40 minutes, make your way to the German town of Helen, they have great places to eat and the entire town looks like it is straight out of a story book!
The Dahlonega square has tons of shops and places to eat. It's very cute town and nice place to walk around. People often say during the holidays it looks like a Hallmark movie.
