A ski-themed local bar in the bustling 12th South area, this spot has quickly become one of our favorites. Go for the drinks, stay for the Cali Fries (Sara's favorite!)

Dee's Country Cocktail Lounge

A bit off the beaten path, this old-school country dive is known for killer live music, cheap drinks and - on good nights - some of the best karaoke in town.

Our favorite spot in Nashville, this new Italian-inspired restaurant offers modern farm-to-table recipes on a family-style menu that changes almost daily. Don't leave without trying the garlic bread with a whipped cream cheese filling!

Martin's BBQ

A stop for barbecue is essential while you're in the South and Martin's is one of our favorites. We also recommend Peg Leg Porker in The Gulch.

International Market

For Thai food lovers, there's no better spot in Nashville than International Market.

Superica

Superica is a fun Mexican restaurant in the Gulch, near our Welcome Party.

Hearts

Hearts is one of Catie's favorite spots in Nashville! This is a cute spot off of 12 South with great brunch, lunch and coffee.

Assembly Food Hall

If you're looking for a place to eat near Broadway, Assembly Food Hall has some great options. Skip the line of tourists waiting for hot chicken outside Hattie B's and try the original Prince's Hot Chicken inside the food hall instead. For a great seated dining option, head to Sixty Vines on the top floor of the food hall.

Pinewood Social

This is a great spot to grab a drink or a bite and bowl in their restored 1950's Bowl-O-Rama bowling alley. They also serve brunch!

Our favorite place to bring Stevie, this state park features a leisurely paved trail around Radnor Lake, a serene oasis located just a stone's throw from downtown Nashville.
