Engagement Story
Stinson Beach has always been one of our favorite places. It's here where Sara learned how to spot and catch sand dollars with her family. It's one of the first places Sara brought me when I visited her hometown for the first time in 2018. It's the terminus of the challenging 14-mile Dipsea Trail which Sara, Catie and I fearlessly conquered together during the pandemic. And finally, it would be the spot where Sara and I would start our newest adventure.
Stinson, however, is not known for its stunning sunsets. Located in a meteorological zone more suited for smothering banks of Northern California fog and less for picturesque proposals, I rolled the dice and picked Stinson as our engagement spot. Call it luck or divine intervention, when we stepped onto the beach on July 10, 2024, the scene could not have been more perfect.
