JaDarius is the true definition of a go-getter, if he says he’s going to do it he will. And for that reason he is one of my biggest motivations. JD is my ride or die and if you don’t like him you don’t like yourself.

My cousin and first best friend, I always say Chasity is my built-in best friend. Being first cousins only 6 months apart, we grew up very close. As soon as we were able to drive, we no longer waited for family gatherings to see each other.

Man, where do I start? Will and I have been locked in with each other for 20+ years. In that span you can only imagine the things we have been through together. The term blood is thicker than water holds no validity to our brotherhood. Me and Will have shared everything from clothes to alibis. If he was rocking I was rolling!

Cheeks! Gabrielle is my best friend. Honestly, I’m not sure “best friend” completely describes our friendship. Gabrielle and I met in the 7th grade and initially weren’t very fond of each other. We ended up partnering together on a project where she expressed to me how nervous she was. If you knew Gabrielle, you wouldn’t think there was a nervous or shy bone in her body. From there, I felt like I knew a different side of her, and it’s been on ever since. I could go on and on, but besides Ryan and before Ryan, this was my person.

Me and Chris met at Christian Brothers at football workouts and shared the exact same excitement about being there. Birthdays three days a part we are both Aquarius, so you know how that goes. We got super close the year we both broke our leg and both had to sit in the back of the class with full legs casts on. When I say that’s my dawg, that’s my dawg.

TT Boo! Shemaria is the best definition of a sister-in-law. I’ve never been the type to have many girl friends, and the thought of having a sister in law back in the day was very uninteresting to me but Shemaria changed my perspective of that. She’s Ryan’s baby and I know why. We love our TT Boo and I can’t wait to continue to go through life with her as a sister.

My man Esquire, since I met Will at Henderson State we have been tight. I call Will when I need to hear the unfiltered truth and he gives me the real. Will’s wit and sarcasm is unmatched and if you can’t take it he doesn’t care. Will quickly became a part of my family away from home and is one of my most dependable friends.

Candis is Ryan’s aunt, but she’s also mine, and I never let him forget that! I’m so excited to have her as a part of my family. Candis is everything you’d want in an aunt-in-law. From day one, she has welcomed me with open arms. She’s the best aunt to Lennox and Lailah, and we all adore our “TT Candis.”

I met Claude through Will Flowers, and that story of the first night we met is only available if purchased. Claude is my brother from another mother. We both share a love for football, in specific Bama football. Claude might be the only person that gets blocked when the Tide is playing. From our day 1 meeting, to getting stranded in Little Rock, to watching my brother coach in state championship games.

Kourtney! I met Kourtney through Gabrielle, as they are cousins. Apparently I steal everyone's family because Kourtney is also my cousin as well, lol. The three of us have had a blast, from going downtown and not being old enough to get on Beale, to late-night car rides around the city, and now our children's birthday parties. We actually announced our pregnancies to each other on the same day, and I cried like a baby because I knew she was so deserving. We've been through life's phases together, and I'm so grateful to have Kourt in my life.

Lee had to share LeAndrea with me when I came back home and deep down he hated me for it. I’m always down for talks with Lee about sports, music, and shoes. He is the best uncle to Lennox and Lailah and was always down to be a third wheel in me and LeAndrea’s beginning phase.

My Tay Tay! Shontay is my big sister. Even though I can't remember life as a baby, every picture I saw showed me as Shontay's baby! I remember being in her wedding years ago, and I honestly felt so honored to be beside my big sister on her big day. As I've gotten older, I always know I can call on her for any advice I need or a good laugh (we have a great sense of humor).

Kev, has been my bro since day 1. We met at Henderson State in Newberry Hall when Kev walked into his room that I had moved into…because he was never there. Little did I know, that’s just who Kev is, what’s his is yours. From then on it’s been a duo of “Scrap and Chipjuice”. Let us tell it we ran HSU from the Caddo to the Quad.

Keiana is my cousin, but is more like a sister to me. I’ve always looked up to Keiana from being a child and especially into adulthood. At one point, if I called any number the most it was hers. She’s always a phone call away and has let me know that no time is not a good time if I need her (unless the kids are sleep of course), lol! She’s seen me through my worst days and has supported me through my best days. I’m extremely grateful for her!

Our princess, Lailah, is the boss and she knows it. She loves playing with her baby dolls and “Her Lenny”. My mom told me when she found out I was a girl she knew she had a best friend ever. The same is true with Lailah. She’s my shadow and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
