We met each other in the 6th grade at Mt. Pisgah Middle School where we both were assigned to classes in the outside portables. LeAndrea, was this cute girl with really long and pretty hair. Ryan, was new to the school and was immediately drawn to LeAndrea. One day Ryan passed LeAndrea a note that read, “Do you like me? Circle Yes or No.” Depending on which one of us you ask the liking and puppy love lasted somewhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. We decided to end our liking for each other due to one of us not being ready to kiss. Our short lived liking for each other was the beginning of our love story. In high school we went to different schools and both went through the trials and errors of dating or so called dating other people all while still keeping up with each other by being friends on MySpace and Facebook. Fast forward to 2016 where we still kept up with each on Instagram and Snapchat, somehow we both knew what to post to get each other to react, comment, or DM. We began to see each other everyday when Ryan returned home from college. Our families seemingly started to see this love story unfolding before we did as we stuck with the “we’re just friends” story. Friends turned to lovers, and then eventually parents with Lennox Grey being born in 2020 and Lailah Ryan in 2022. Our love for each other continues to grow stronger each and every day.
