Zurich Flughafen

Zurich Flughafen (ZRH) is Switzerland's main airport, and is closest to Adelboden. From here, you can drive or take the train!

SBB Train

For those flying in to Zurich, you can reach Adelboden by train in under 3 hours. To reach Adelboden from Zurich Flughafen: 1. Visit sbb.ch or use the SBB app to search for routes from Zurich Flughafen to Adelboden Post. 2. Choose a departure time that suits you. Routes via Geneva Airport or Zurich HB will require transfers in Bern and Frutigen. Confirm these in your itinerary. 3. On the train from Bern to Frutigen, sit in the "Richtung (Direction) Iselle di Transquera" section, as the train splits en route. 4. In Frutigen, catch the bus at the train platform to Adelboden Post. Enjoy your trip! Total travel time via public transportation is a little less than 3hrs. If you wish to rent a car or service, you will reach Adelboden in around 2 hours. If you are traveling from another city, you can also take the train to Adelboden.
