Things To Do

Hatcher Pass

Willow, AK 99654

Knowing that you all have to drive an hour out of Anchorage already to attend the wedding we highly recommend you swing by Hatchers pass before the ceremony! It is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see.

Glacier Brewhouse

737 West 5th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501
, (907) 274-2739

One of our favorite places to eat. Brides favorite: Seafood chowder Grooms favorite: Lobster (virgin) Raspberry mojitos highly recommended

Anchorage Market & Festival

225 East 3rd Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501
, (907) 272-5634

Saturday and Sunday check out the local vendors! Sadly the weekend before and the weekend of you will not be able to see Josh and Joy as they run their summer firestarter booth.

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

Mile 79 Seward Highway, Portage, AK 99587
, (907) 783-2025

We recommend also visiting a glacier before or after visiting. There are several glaciers in the general vicinity, Byron glacier, Portage glacier, and Exit glacier. Please look each of them up when choosing as they offer different experiences and some are more of a hike than others.

Mt. Alyeska Tram

Tram Circle, Anchorage, AK 99587
, (907) 754-2275

If it is cloudy the view is nonexistent so I would not pre-buy your ticket. However, this is a great experience with amazing views. The bake shop and chair five are great local places to eat.

For all the days along the way
