Laura and Sawyer met in their first week of school at DePaul in the stairwell of their dorm and it was love at first sight. JUST KIDDING. They became good friends and hung out a ton watching movies in Sawyers dorm for the first year of college. After the dorms they drifted apart but could always be counted on to give each other a hug or a wave when running into each other on campus. Senior year they were brought back together by DePaul's Service Immersion Program where they both led spring service trips. That Spring they started to build a close friendship which would become the foundation for their long distance phone calls, skype dates, and one visit over Easter weekend while Laura was doing her year of service in Nashville. During this time they realized that there was really no one else who enjoyed a good dance party, long bike ride, or goofy dad joke as much as they did so they decided to become the greatest power couple the world has ever known.
