Chris and I met on an RA retreat when I was a sophomore in college and he was a junior in college. We were both first-year RAs, Resident Assistants, at Bryan College. After this retreat, as we began to get to know each other, our fellow RAs began to hint around, not so subtly, that they thought we would make a good couple. Our friend, Taylor, pointed out that our, “laughs go well together.” As RAs, we decorate the hallways we are in charge of. Before residents move in, we do a walk-through of all of the dorms to show our team what we’ve done. While we were walking between Long dorm and Huston dorm, Chris and I had our first real conversation. It was about the stars and how beautiful they were!
